Shelby’s Barber Gang

My background in hospitality always taught me how impressionable we can be depending on the vibe we put out. A little goes a long way.

I wasn’t a resident of New Plymouth the first time I visited Shelby’s Barber Gang. I’d come through on a few different occasions. The first time I walked in, Kelvin was kind, inviting - and that left a massive impression on me.

A couple of visits later, I had a new camera I wanted to test. I thought, who better than this crew. We shot a simple video, had a great chat.

The rest is history.
